Who this covers
This policy covers forgottenstories.org, an independent guide to the Roblox game. It does not cover Roblox, the game developer, Discord, Trello or other sites you choose to visit. Contact the site publisher through the contact and corrections page for questions about this website.
Site analytics
The production site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand which guides and tools are useful. It sends page addresses and titles, referral information, browser and device information, and interaction events such as opening answers, following links, using tools and reading further down a page. Google Analytics can use cookies such as _ga to distinguish browsers and sessions.
We do not ask for a Roblox login or send your checklist selections as an account profile. Saved checklist contents stay in your browser; analytics may record that a checklist was saved or shared. Page addresses can include query parameters, so do not put personal information into a URL.

Google Analytics on this browser: Checking preference…. Changing this setting reloads the page and affects future visits on this browser. Existing Analytics cookies and previously processed data are not deleted.
Checklists and browser storage
The first-run checklist and Book checklist save progress in local storage on this browser. It persists until you reset the checklist or clear site data. There is no account sync. A shared Book checklist is encoded in the link fragment; anyone you send that link to can read the selected entries. Sharing does not automatically replace the recipient's progress.
Your analytics preference is also stored locally. Clearing all site data removes this preference, so set it again afterward if needed. Private browsing and blocked storage may prevent preferences or progress from persisting.
Hosting, media and external services
Cloudflare delivers the website and its same-origin live-stat service. Processing a request involves technical information such as the requested URL, IP address and browser headers for delivery and security. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Cloudflare also adds its Web Analytics script to production pages to measure page views and browser performance. This is separate from Google Analytics; the Google Analytics choice above does not disable Cloudflare Web Analytics. See Cloudflare Web Analytics documentation for how that service works.
Images and inline video or audio are served from this site. YouTube videos open only when you choose the watch action; they are not loaded as embedded players on page arrival. Following an external game, Discord, Trello or YouTube link makes a request to that service under its own policy.
Advertising
This version does not load Google AdSense display advertisements. If Google ads are enabled, Google and other participating advertising vendors may use cookies and prior visits to this or other websites to choose advertisements. Google's advertising cookies can support personalized ads across participating sites.
You can manage Google ad personalization in My Ad Center and review participating vendors' choices at YourAdChoices. Disabling Analytics here does not change those services' advertising preferences. We will update this policy and applicable consent choices before enabling ads.
Messages, retention and requests
If you contact the publisher, the information you choose to send is used to answer the request or investigate a correction. Do not send passwords, payment information or private game-account data. Browser checklists are kept until you remove them. Hosting and Analytics data follow the service providers' settings and policies; this site does not promise a retention period it has not verified.
Use the contact page for privacy questions or requests concerning information you supplied. Turning off future analytics does not delete previously processed information. This policy's update date changes when the described practices change.
