Current player questions

Cooking planning: recipe yields, special foods and resource savings

The current Kebab card says Crafts 2, replacing the earlier Crafts 3 wording. Special-food access and the Cook's resource-saving passive answer different questions. These are public WIP records, not separately confirmed live cooking patches.

Baseline public Trello WIP checked 2026-09-08T01:33:25.085Z; later checks are dated per answer. Relevant official clarifications appear above. First collected or corrected details are not necessarily a new live update.

Should I spend Living Bark on Mana food?

WIP checked 2026-09-10T07:21:27.171760+00:00

The card titled Drayadkin Stew lists 1 Vegetable Oil, 2 Manamary, 2 Dryadkin Moss and 2 Living Bark, with Health +11 and Mana +3. Orsalad lists 1 Orbagge, 1 Carrow, 1 Lility and 1 Dryadkin Moss, with Health +5, Mana +1 and Stamina +1. Orsalad's listed recipe uses no Bark; this lets you reserve Bark for equipment if its smaller recovery fits your need.

This is an ingredient tradeoff, not a tested efficiency ranking. Neither card states Crafts 2. Stew's Enhanced, Regeneration and Resilient labels do not establish extra instant Mana. Special-recipe access remains a separate requirement.

Which recipes explicitly make two servings and also list Stamina recovery?

WIP checked 2026-09-10T07:21:27.171760+00:00

Baked Carrow uses 1 Carrow, 1 Spice Pouch and 1 Clayvorant Eye; its card says Crafts 2 and lists Health +5, Stamina +2, Swift +1 and Well Fed +2. Charkanel uses 1 Verdants, 1 Chaoscap and 1 Zarzaberry; it also says Crafts 2 and lists Health +3, Stamina +3 and Energized +5. The Pan's inventory-or-equipped condition unlocks special food crafting.

The recovery lines describe each food; the two-serving label is a batch yield. It does not prove that two servings can be consumed in one turn, that buffs stack, or that every recipe is available without the Pan. Charkanel's card says it is too rare for ordinary stores, so do not plan a guaranteed purchase.

Wheat, meat or berries: what can I cook with the ingredients I already have?

WIP checked 2026-09-10T07:21:27.171760+00:00

With 3 Wheat, Dried Bread lists 6 Health. With 1 Raw Meat and 1 Spice Pouch, Grilled Meat lists 9 Health. With 3 Zarzaberries and 1 Apple, Zarza-Jelly lists 20 Health plus Regeneration +5. Start by matching your inventory to one of these recipes; keep Spice Pouch if you choose the berry route.

These are listed recovery values, not guaranteed effective healing after modifiers or overheal. Regeneration +5 is a status label, not five extra HP. This comparison does not establish shop stock, recipe yield or the cheapest farming route.

Open the berry recipe and recovery record →
What goes into one Kebab recipe?

One Apple, one Dryadkin Moss, one Raw Meat, one Carrow and one Spice Pouch. The listed batch makes two Kebabs. The ingredient directory links Moss, Carrow and Spice Pouch to their other published uses so you can check competing recipes.

Do not plan three servings from the old recipe. Ingredient descriptions and values do not establish guaranteed shop stock, a harvesting route or a currency conversion rate.

Compare Moss uses before spending it on a meal →
Does a Kebab only restore Health?

The card lists Health +15, Empowered +3, Enhanced +3 and Well Fed +5. Empowered's separate status record lists +20% outgoing physical damage; Enhanced lists +20% outgoing elemental damage.

Three status stacks do not establish +60% damage. No linear stack scaling or complete final-damage formula is stated, and food recovery does not prove removal of Infection or Deepwound.

Choose an injury treatment separately from food →
Can I calculate Kebab profit from the listed Value?

The Kebab card lists Value as 20 Silver, 60 Copper. Keep that label separate from the two-serving recipe yield and from each ingredient's own Value field.

Value is not a verified buy price, sale payout, guaranteed merchant stock or per-batch profit. Apple has a bare numeric Value in its material card, so a reliable currency-normalized profit calculation is not supported.

Review published prices without inventing exchange rates →
Do I need to equip The Pan to see special recipes?

The Pan card says having it in your inventory or equipped unlocks special food crafting. The Cook starts with The Pan. Equipping the weapon is therefore not the only documented way to meet that recipe-access condition.

The source does not establish that every recipe also requires the Cook inheritance, or how another inheritance could obtain the Pan. Crafting access does not grant ingredients automatically.

Check the Pan's documented obtainment and combat trade-offs →
Does Cook guarantee free ingredients or extra servings?

The Cook lists a 10%/25%/50% chance not to consume a resource when crafting or cooking. At level three, enemies have a 40% chance to drop random cooking ingredients.

The wording does not settle whether each ingredient is rolled independently. Do not turn it into a guaranteed free batch, change a recipe's listed yield, or promise a specific ingredient from an enemy.
